Wow, we are so excited about this mare.
Byalee Desire (known as Flick the Fresian) is by Fresian stallion Dennis van der Smalbemde (imp), who is known the black pearl of Fresian magnificence (see his photos at www.byalee.net) out of a Northern warmblood mare. Dennis is registered KFPS (Holland) and ANZFHS (Australia & NZ).
Like her dad, Flick is an absolute dream to ride. Dennis is a sensational elegant sporthorse friesian, with a commanding presence, possessing light and floating movement. He has amazing good looks and it is obvious that Flick has inherited his fantastic temperament and trainability. She has never put a foot out of place, doesn’t need to be worked every day and doesn’t need lunging.
Flick is going to mature into magnificence and she is going to be an amazing equine partner, being incredibly comfortable to ride. To date nothing has fazed her and she can never get too much attention. Add to that the Northern Congress Olympic blood and you have quite literally all you could desire in a young horse - breeding, temperament, balance and comfort. Unique!
